Act Like you want it


   
  Act!If you want that dream job,that change in your income,Act!Act!Act!This should be the way you act towards having a thing and to an extent it goes to show how willing you are towards having it. As an employee,applying a drastic approach towards accomplishing a task quite often gains you  recognition as a candidate of favor by the management board of any organization.Mind you,do not be too zealous as an over zealous mind could get out of control and become a destructive force to a business. Let your level of zeal be moderate,precise and properly calculated. It often leads you towards achieving an outstanding result in one task
 within a stipulated time.

I actually applied to work as an account officer. Yes I eventually got employed into the bank as an account officer. But on my first day of assumption on the job. I was further enlightened on the banks terms and condition towards all employee irrespective of the position occupied in the bank  which stated that we must market at least a product or two of the bank geared towards bringing in prospective clients to save there money in the bank.On hearing this, I had my personal objections as I was an experienced account officer and the idea of marketing was just very strange to me based on my overtime experience as an account officer. I did ask questions in regards to this but my answer still boils down to the conclusion that it was the terms and conditions of the bank towards all employee. Well I had to go by the banks terms and conditions though I was not very comfortable with it.And the monthly targets were quite astonishing. I have to admit on my first few trials at marketing the banks product it seemed like I was not convincing enough to the prospective clients. So I decide to tag along with David. David was a long time employee of the bank even before I got employed into the bank and I heard he was very good at marketing the banks products and getting results. As I went along with David, I observed him closely each time he interacted with a prospect as I was also eager to learn at the shortest  possible time. I observed that David often gets his prospective clients to save there money in the bank. I also observed that each time David approaches each prospect, he often had the desire to win there heart through his disposition towards them and they would often take his offer to save there money in the bank.As a matter of fact, David wins the heart of his prospects and keeps it in his possession by constantly communicating with the clients. So, based on what I have learnt from David as a very young employee. I decided to give it a try and after some trials on my own, I observed it was as a matter of fact also working for me as I keep bringing in quite a number of clients on a monthly bases to the bank. As I was able to borrow some techniques from David and added to my technique this made me very formidable as an accountant and as the banks product and services marketer of the bank located in my country, Nigeria.

    My point is,while I observed David sell the banks products and services to prospective clients. I observed that boldness, confidence and desire to get prospective clients to save there money with the bank based on his actions even after he must have won the heart of his prospect.

  This to me was a true display of ones desire to achieve success in an endeavor, ones desire to 'act like he wants it'. Based on my true live story. Do attempt this technique either as a sales representative,products marketer and as a business person.It works.
